A sample pack of 40+ audio files that are manipulations of the sound of a chair being scraped on the floor.
Years ago, after booking some studio time, I discovered that the artist could not make it at the last minute. All I had was a chair, some microphones and outboard equipment. This sample pack is the result of that studio session of experimentation. All the sounds have been recorded through an Audient ASP8024 console and processed using Eventide and TC Electronics hardware. The sounds have been tweaked with digital processing to highlight the best features and get them production-ready.
These sounds would be perfect for creepy sound design, dark electronic music and otherworldly atmospherics.
Files are 24-bit, 44.1kHz, Stereo Wav’s.
